The World's Premier Listing Software

Celebrating 22 Years Serving Birders
and Naturalists around the World!
Being able to list my lifers seen for a specific trip is possibly my #1 wish list item. Now, the only way to do this is via a sightings report; but I don't want to list all my sightings.
Why not add a function in the Trip Report template: "list ONLY lifers seen on this trip."
Less desirable, but better than nothing, would be to be able to highlight or otherwise indicate (with an asterisk, etc.) "lifers seen this trip" on the standard Trip Report.
This has been a feature in BD since v4.0 I believe.
It has been rolled into the Sightings report however, not the Trip report.
The header will provide a count of Lifers, among other things, and your sightings will be highlighted if they are World Lifers, Location Lifers or Annual Lifers.
Let me know if I can clarify any of this for you.
Sorry I didn't read far enough back in the posts to realize you were asking for a list of only the lifers.
There is a way to get this list you ask for with a little bit of effort, and it exists in v4.x also.
Now, depending on your text editor and its capabilities, you can have it only show rows with "[w]" in it or strip out rows without the "[w]".
The result is a list of just your lifers from the trip.
You can even open the file in a Spreadsheet editor such as Excel and do the same sort of thing if you are more familiar with this tool.
Not exactly what you are asking for, but a small workaround.
