when opening bd 5.0 for the second time (first time was uneventful) i get this error message.
I recall a similar message with 4.1 that had to do with where I had filed the images i added to sightings.
I opened this us yesterday and then forgot to answer you.
If you are not running build 20 of BD, please come back to www.BirdersDiary.com, go to the Downloads page and click on the Network Installation button for Build 20 of v5.0. Let me know if this is still happening after upgrading to build 20 please.

I don't know how this happened but I never got notified of this post/update by you. So I didn't see it yesterday. So sorry.

Jeff, I fixed the problem myself.
When you were on my computer, you zipped my database to download to your computer to work on it, and you found the solution to the original problem.
When I opened BD afterwords, opened the demo database. My database was in "database zip" so i rename demo database and unzipped "database.zip" and voila my database reappeared.
I thought you might like to know what happened.
