I ran my life list through 7.3, then 8.2 and a number of species disappear.
For example - the first 4 species I came to in comparing both lists - none of which appear to have been lumped - they all appear on the IOC master list
Cape Barren Goose
All together I had 2043 at the end of December 2018 under 7.3, now under 8.2 I have 2020
Appreciate any insights.
Jeff - I compared the two lists to find the differences - Mallard is quite interesting.
No problem Jeff.
I do have a new issue.
I entered a California sighting of Sooty Fox Sparrow for 1/26/19 along with two other species new for the year. The first two species had the pop up showing they were new for the year - the SFS did not. But it did not appear on the YTD CA sightings report I ran. I went to view/edit sightings and nothing came up for SFS, nor does it show up on YTD World list.
Make certain you are using the latest IOC taxonomic list for Sightings Entry and for View/Edit and Reports. That is important.
Now, go to View/Edit and search for all your SFS sightings. Sort in Order of Entry, DESC order. Be certain to click the "Clear Data Filter" button first to make sure no other settings are set.
Your latest SFS sighting will be on top. Is it what you expect? Location, date, etc all good? Do you have any other sightings for SFS this year?
If you don't see it, then perhaps you didn't really enter a sighting for an SFS, but fat-fingered a sighting for something else (I do it all the time). In that case, Use View/Edit to search all sightings for 26-Jan-2019 and see what you actually get.
Let's start there. Let me know,
In that case, the report you are running is different somehow than the criteria you specified in the View/Edit Setup window. It will be something simple when you find it. Double-check all of your settings for your report. Also, make sure you are using your latest IOC taxonomy for both.
If you still can't find it, post back here and we will schedule a screen-sharing session.
