I love that Desktop can receive breeding codes from the app. But that means I have to manually add all those breeding codes to a Desktop UDF FIRST. I haven't gotten around to that.
There seems to be no way to edit the UDF after creation. So, I have to enter all those codes (in the proper order) up front. Why can't the UDF be edited so I can insert a breeding code in between two existing codes in the list?
Hi David,

You can create the UDF as either a Text-type or a List-type. The former does not require any setup and is free form. The latter, what I chose, allows you to quickly select from a list, avoiding typos, as well as enter any value you want that may not be in the list.

In BD Desktop, you can edit and add more values to the list, but they always get appended to the end of the current list; no way to rearrange easily.
If you do want to add code "E" between "B" and "C", for example...
A
B
C
D
...you will have to remove C and D (this does not affect current sightings), then add E, followed by C and D again.
I know. I ran into this when creating my own list.
Perhaps a future enhancement.
