[Solved] can't open

Updated to V 5.2.  Program worked for a while

.  Now it freezes when I try to open it.

Hi Rosemary,

This is resolved in the latest build of BD - Build 29. There is a hidden message behind the splash screen (zone-tailed hawk) that you can't see. Please stop this program using Task Manager if necessary and upgrade to Build 29.

You can upgrade to Build 29 by going to the Downloads >> Birder's Diary Program page on this site, download the installer and run it. After that is done, BD should run just fine.

Ran as Administrator.  When I tried to ope BD I got this:

Hi Rosemary,

That's the message you couldn't see in Build 6 behind the splash screen. 

You should follow the instructions. You have a corrupt license file.

Do you have Norton antivirus? If so, you will need to configure Norton to Exclude C:\Birder's Diary from virus checks. It is known to cause this problem.
