After entering the birds for a trip, when I hit close to finish the trip, the software always reports a "run-time error '3315'", which research tells me is a Microsoft Access error.  The error description continues "Field 'GrphData.SeriesData' cannot be a zero-length string." I tried a few things to no avail.  Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Durrin,

Thanks for posting. This has a simple cause and solution.

The cause is that the graphs/charts at the bottom of the window

image

are referencing non-existent data. e.g. observer, location, taxonomy, etc. Some charts/data come with BD pre-installed for demo purposes. And they are not referencing valid data any longer.

The solution is

  1. Start BD
  2. Show the Charts/Graphs (Ctrl+Z)
  3. Delete each one
    image
  4. Re-add any you were using.

I will fix this in v5.2.

Jeff
