Is it possible to create a report of all the families with the first bird observed in each family and the families still needed? If that is not possible, at least a report of all the birds seen in each family, with the families still needed also mentioned?
Elena
Hi Elena,
Thanks for posting.
This Checklist report produces a long list of species seen by family, and checks off those that have already been seen.
You would have to go through all 74 pages to see which Families do not have sightings.
To show only the families where you do not have any sightings,
- uncheck the "Check Off Things Seen" checkbox, and
- Check the "Only Show Potential Lifers" checkbox.
Now you just have a list of families where you need to see at least one species.
That is currently the best way to get the details.
On the Quick Counts window...
You can get a quick count of Families seen and not seen.
In this example, the user has seen 83 families out of 250 total families in the Clements 2022 taxonomic list, of which there are 248 families with non-extinct species.
Does this get you were you need to be? Let me know if you need otherwise, and I will see about getting a new feature for this.
