I have a bunch of eBird checklists to import (into v. 5.1) and would like instructions on how to combine the tasks. have done this in the past, but forgot the details and can't find instructions.

I have kept links from previous discussions (below), but those don't seem to be active any more, have done a search in the forum, looked at posts with the "eBird import" tag. My apologies for the repeat inquiry...

Importing many checklists from eBird in ONE IMPORT.

Thanks...

Hi Steve,

No problem. I think your older links were to the old web site and the now defunct support forums that had loads of issues. I could find now way to get that data over into the current forums in any meaningful way.

So, can I assume that you have many CSV files that you exported and downloaded from the eBird website? And now these files are on your PC and you want to import them, but don't want to go through the process one file at a time?

Does that sound correct?

If so, the Sightings Import feature allows you to select multiple files at once, and thereby load many or all of them at once.

If I got the scenario wrong, let me know and we will figure out another way.

If you need help figuring out how to multi-select files in Windows File Explorer, just Google that and you will find innumerable sites and videos to show how. Or ask back here again and I will assist.

Take care,

@jeff Thanks, sorry I didn't see your response sooner. So it was a piece of cake. I got distracted by trying to be responsible and looking over my previous notes; apparently importing multiple files had been problematic? Anyway, all good.
