[Solved] Life list that DOES include lifelist-disabled sightings
I want to reconcile eBird lists to Birder's Diary lists. eBird lists include spuhs. But I have each spuh lifelist-disabled in BD.
I would like to have a report for the year, say, that has only one line for each species, including spuhs, slashes, or anything else I have set as lifelist disabled). I suppose I could temporarily "turn on" a spuh in the Thing table, or wherever that is, but that would be too much trouble.
Is there an easy way to do that? And I suppose that means writing some SQL, which is not easy.
Are you just looking for a simple list of all sightings for Disctinct Things seen this year, regardless of life-list-disabled setting? Including Subspecies, Spush, Slashes, etc.?
Then the Trip Report is the right thing.
Here are some example sightings where I have setup a Slash and a Spuh in the Reptiles taxonomy.
Then I entered sightings for each as well as species and subspecies.
Setup your report columns to sort and display the data the way you want.
Then I get something like this...
Let me know if this doesn't work for you. There are other possibilities also, but vary depending on what you want out of it.
Let me know.
Well, I see now that eBird does not show spuhs in its count. It separates them under a different heading. But the idea you give me I think will be useful, as a quick look at everything I have entered. Thank you.
