I use e-bird to enter my lists and then import to Birder's Diary. This has worked well for several years and I am just starting to have this problem. I have rebooted. I have checked my location tree and taxonomic list. I made sure the sightings have imported. I normally refresh the lifer bars if it doesn't happen automatically but that does not help. At first the lifer bar update problem was just sporadic but today I imported 3 new birds for the year and none registered on the lifer bars. The only thing I can think of is that I am still using ABA 2019 taxonomic list. Could that cause this problem?
Problem solved. A couple of my locations had ended up in "orphaned locations" but also showed up under a county. Once I removed them from "orphaned locations" the lifer bars were accurate. Looks like I need to be more careful about handling locations when I import from e-bird.
Hi,
Thanks for the update. When importing from eBird (or any other source) and the location is not recognized, you will be prompted to assign the location properly. So, you may have mis-stepped here.
It seems you have figured it out.
Let me know if I can assist with anything further.
Jeff
Another question on this topic: the "WORLD" total shown on the bottom left* is not the same as what is provided by the Quick Life List Count.
One of the responses above refers to Orphaned Locations; there are some entities listed under $Orphaned Locations$ under Location Maintenance, but I don't have any records for any of those.

Thanks
