I tried to click the check box that activates editing of a UDF in a record. I got Run time error 380. I went back into it, and it happened again. This was in a mass edit.

I have another customer with this error David. I cannot reproduce it on my end. So there must be something unique about your situation (and the other customer).

Can you please give me as much detail as possible? A screen shot of your UDF window (Ctrl+U). What type of UDF are you clicking? A picture of the field you are trying to click; it is not shows in your attachment. Once the Edit window appears, walk me through the steps that lead up to the error. Is it just go straight to the checkbox and click it first thing?

Let me know,

Jeff

Just reproduced the error! I am on it.

It appears that the error may be related to clicking ONLY on the first UDF checkbox in the Edit Window. I guess I never tried the first one before.

Stay tuned. Update forthcoming...

Build 23 is now available.

Choose Help | Internet: Check for a program update from within BD v5.2.

Or download from the Downloads >> Birder's Diary Program page on this site.

Yes, that is what I did. I clicked on the check box that says I do want to edit that UDF. I never got to click on the actual UDF because it bombed.
