[Solved] Taxonomic list install trouble

The instructions for downloading a taxonomic list state:
"For taxonomic lists, just click on the purchased tax list and the download will begin. After download is complete for a taxonomic list, start Birder's Diary and you will be prompted with the auto-import wizard to complete the import and licensing process."

I did that, and the list downloaded. I moved it to the Birders Diary folder. I opened the program. No wizard started. I opened the Import window and tried to import it myself. It found nothing. But it was looking for csv files. The list I downloaded is an exe file. BD will not import such a file.

What do I do?

Here are the instructions from the Taxonomic Downloads page on this site.

Here are the steps from the Invoice.

The key step, missing from the Invoice email, is highlighted in Yellow above.

Once you download the installer, you need to run it. That is missing from the Invoice email. Sorry for that confusion.

What do I do?

Run the downloaded EXE file. Then proceed as per the instructions from the website. 

I will correct the Invoice email details. Thanks.

The upper instructions you show, I did not see. I was following the lower instructions. No where do they say to run the file that had been downloaded. Thank you for correcting the instructions.

Thanks much for pointing this out David. The instructions had aged and not kept up with new functionality and how things are done.

I am not sure David. I am happy to have this pointed out to me and the chance to update these instructions and definitions. It will surely help everyone.
