David,

I think you have a corrupt file still sitting around. Even though I was able to import this file with no problem.

Let's do this.

When you have the "BD Mobile Import File(s) Found" window showing, select this corrupt import file (if you still have it) and click on Delete Selected. Let's get rid of this file.

Now, just do another BD Mobile test like this one (don't use this existing Outing), select a few names (one with an apostrophe in the name, e.g. Nutting's Flycatcher) and add some comments to the Outing with quotes/apostrophes, then Finish, Send and Close.

Back at BD Desktop, Ctrl+I and attempt to import.

This will test the end-to-end functionality anew. And only take 60 seconds.

Let me know please. Thanks.

I did what you said. It still bombs on Unrecognized name and the name is Elapsed Time.

Thx David. I am able to reproduce the problem now. Fix on the way.

It is the odd (un-paired) double-quote at the end of your comment. Bad code on my part. I should have planned for that.

Ok - this was an Android problem. I guess in 3 years, no one has ever put a double-quote in the Outing comments. GACK!

This will be fixed in v2.03 of BD Mobile. Uploading now and should be available for automatic download within 24 hours (usually within 1 hr).

Thanks for all your help on this David!!!

Oh - I forgot to add my test results for this.

Created test Outing and then Send and Close to the Cloud.

Then in BD Desktop, downloaded and imported. No error and the Trip Comments were reproduced exactly as entered.

I only put " as a test because of something you said. The original problem I had was something like 60's, as in a temperature.
