[Solved] Importing app files - have to select a file twice, no three times
When the Imported Files Found dialog pops up, I select (with check marks) the files it found. Then I click Import and the Import/Export dialog appears. I hit Import, and the Windows Open window comes up. Why is it that I THEN have to select the files to import all over again? If I have to do that, then why do I have to select them in the Imported Files Found dialog?
And if I am doing multiple files, it then asks me each time if I want to import the file. That is the third time I have to say import a particular file.
Sorry for the confusion on this one. Selecting the files on the notification window is for Deleting the files form that window. You don't need to select the files in the notification window unless you want to delete them from there.
Once you click on the Import button in the Import window, then you are prompted to select one or more files for import.
If you select multiple files at this point, yes, you are prompted after each import a) if you want to delete the file just imported, and b) if you want to import the next file in the sequence.
This seems like a good process to me. I do see that perhaps you would rather not answer the Delete and Import question after each file is imported. I will add an option to auto-import multiple files to this window.
Added new Checkbox for Quiet Import on the Sightings Import TAB.
